CalcMyTariff.com provides informational tariff rate calculations and educational content about US import tariffs. The service is provided free of charge and does not require user registration. CalcMyTariff.com is an informational tool, not a customs brokerage service or legal advice provider.

3. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

Tariff rates and calculations provided by CalcMyTariff.com are for informational purposes only.

While we strive for accuracy by cross-referencing official sources (Tax Foundation, USITC, Penn Wharton Budget Model), tariff rates change frequently based on executive orders, trade proclamations, and legislative action. Rates displayed may not reflect the most recent changes.

CalcMyTariff.com should NOT be used as the sole basis for import decisions. For binding tariff classifications and official duty determinations, consult a licensed customs broker or the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

4. Limitation of Liability

CalcMyTariff.com, its operators, and data providers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:

  • Reliance on tariff calculations or rates displayed on this site
  • Inaccuracies or delays in rate updates
  • Decisions made based on information provided by this service
  • Interruptions to site availability

Use at your own risk.The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

5. Intellectual Property

Content, code, and design of CalcMyTariff.com are owned by CalcMyTariff.com. Tariff rate data is sourced from public government databases and attributed to their respective publishers.

Users may share calculation results and link to pages on CalcMyTariff.com. Scraping, bulk downloading, or automated access to the site is prohibited without prior written permission.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent the tariff calculation engine
  • Submit automated requests that could overwhelm our servers or degrade service for other users
  • Misrepresent CalcMyTariff.com calculations as official government determinations or binding tariff rulings
  • Use the site in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations

7. Third-Party Services

CalcMyTariff.com uses Google Analytics for traffic measurement and Google AdSense for advertising. These services are governed by Google's own terms of service and privacy policy. Your use of this site is also subject to Google's terms where those services apply.

8. Embedding the Calculator

CalcMyTariff.com offers an embeddable version of its tariff calculator (the “Embedded Calculator”) that third-party websites may display via iframe. By embedding it, you agree to the following terms:

  • Usage rights. You may embed the Embedded Calculator on your own website free of charge for informational use. You may not alter, obscure, reframe, or misrepresent the tool or its output, and you may not present its results as your own original work or as official government determinations.
  • Attribution. Each embed must retain the visible “Powered by CalcMyTariff” link to calcmytariff.com that ships inside the widget. You may not remove, hide, restyle to obscure, or rewrite this attribution link. Custom colors and branding removal are not available in this version.
  • Data accuracy. The Embedded Calculator returns the same informational estimates as the main site and is subject to the same Data Accuracy Disclaimer (Section 3) and Limitation of Liability (Section 4). We make no warranty that embedded results are current or error-free and are not liable for decisions made on your site in reliance on them.
  • No service guarantee. The Embedded Calculator is provided “as is” and pushes no tracking scripts onto your page. We may change, version, or discontinue it at any time and do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the embedded widget.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting to this page. Continued use of CalcMyTariff.com following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of the United States.

11. Affiliate Links and Sponsored Content

CalcMyTariff.com currently has no affiliate relationships with any third-party product or service providers. No links on this site are currently paid affiliate links.

If CalcMyTariff.com establishes affiliate relationships in the future, all affiliate links will be clearly labeled “Affiliate link” or identified with an adjacent disclosure statement, and will carry the rel="sponsored"HTML attribute.
